Gratitude Galore: Celebrating your attendance, donations, and volunteer spirit at our

2nd Annual LifeLung Walk!

Join us as we continue our powerful LifeLung journey to bring about lung health advocacy, and action. Be a part of the commitment to help prevent lung disease and to ease the burden for people living with lung disease. Join us as we honor the memory of those we’ve lost and uplift those who need our support.

With your support, we joined over 200 people, raised over $14,000, and walked over 150 miles collectively.

Through the LifeLung Walk, our goal is to support and bring together those diagnosed, at risk, and the people who love them. The walk not only provided a platform for raising awareness and support for lung cancer and lung disease, but it also allowed people to connect with others in the community and form lasting friendships.

We are grateful to our volunteers for dedicating their time and energy to make this event possible. Thank you for your invaluable contribution! Without their hard work on the event day, we could never have achieved such a successful event. We simply can’t wait for LifeLung Walk 2024!

A special thank you to our speakers, Sharmayne Pinson, Garrett Lamar, our breathing and stretch coach, Pastor Aventer Gray, our EMT nurses, Nyasha Smith and Marcia Bates, and our deejay, DJ Cruize Control. Also, a thank you to our CHEERLEADERS!!!!

We are grateful to our sponsors Cadence Taylor Beauty, Frito Lay, Mt. Horeb Missionary Baptist Church, the Mayor’s Office, and the City of Houston for making this event possible through their generous contributions and support.

Shout-out to our amazing vendors: Air Alliance Non-profit; Tellem Tanya, cookbook Arthur; Tashell Williams, author of One Lung to Live; Garrett Lamar, Arthur of Starting Strong; Camps by KT; award-winning youth camp programs; Mary Kay Cosmetics/ Gift Baskets; Current Meditation, and the Community Health and Wellness Division at Harris County Public Health!
